Introduction

Drying wet fly ash with reasonable energy consumption and simple process can improve the comprehensive utilization value of fly ash by keeping its moisture content below 5%. The fly ash dryer is special designed according to the characteristics of wet fly ash with large water content, small specific gravity, and fine particle size. The fly ash dryer realizes large-scale utilization through rapid dehydration of high-humidity fly ash, which not only solves the problem of environmental pollution, but also effectively realizes the reuse of waste resources.

Advantages

1. It can dry block, granular, and powdery materials below 20mm in size.
2. The self-insulation thermal efficiency of the cylinder is as high as 80%, which is 45% higher than that of traditional single-cylinder dryer.
3. Adopt downstream drying method, the flue gas and wet materials enter the dryer from the same side. The high-temperature flue gas can be used to obtain high evaporation intensity.
4. The low negative pressure at the hot end can reduce the amount of air leakage entering the dryer, which is beneficial for stabilizing the temperature and flow rate of the hot gas inside the dryer.

System

The wet fly ash is send into the dispersing feeder, then the dispersed material is evenly sent to the storage bin and then sent to the three-layer drum. The inner layer realizes downstream drying, and the material is continuously picked up and scattered under the lifting plate to travel in a spiral manner to achieve heat exchange. The material moves to the other end of the inner layer and then enters the middle layer for counter-current drying. The material is repeatedly lifted in the middle layer, fully absorbing the heat emitted by the inner cylinder and the heat from the middle cylinder, where the material reaches a dry state. After reaching the other end of the middle layer, the material falls into the outer layer. The material that achieves the target effect is quickly discharged from the drum under the action of hot air, while the material that does not achieve the target effect is fully dried again in the outer layer, thereby achieving the drying effect and completing the drying process.
