Introduction

Coal dryer is suitable for drying coal slurry, mixed coal, fly ash, concentrate powder and other coal materials with high moisture content, fine particle size, and high viscosity. It is also applicable for low quality lignite with high internal water content, low ignition point, and high volatile matter. The design of the drying system fully considers the properties of raw materials and has made special design on the internal structure of the cylinder, which not only improves thermal efficiency, but also effectively avoids the adhesion and excessive drying of coal materials in the dryer.

System

The material enters the drum through the conveyor, and it is quickly guided by the material guiding plate to the inclined lifting plate. It rotates with the cylinder, lifting from the bottom to the top and then falls, forming a “material curtain”. The high-temperature flue gas passes through the material curtain, preheats and evaporates water. As the drum rotates, the material is lifted and dropped again, fully exchanging heat with the flue gas. The cleaning chain cleans the adhering material on the lifting plate and drum wall, and the above process is repeated when the drum rotates. As the water evaporates, part of the dry material leaks from the gap between the lifting plates, and the material continues to dry. When the material reaches the end of the drum, it completes heat exchange with the flue gas and slides to the discharge box to complete the drying process.
