Introduction
Single-channel rotary dryer, also known as single pass rotary dryer, is widely used in building materials, metallurgy, chemical industry, cement, agriculture and other fields. It can dry slag, coal powder, mineral powder, clay, kaolin, bentonite, sand, limestone, etc.
According to different requirements, different heat sources can be used, such as direct heating hot blast stove, indirect hot blast stove, thermal oil, electric heating, steam, etc. The single drum dryer is mainly suitable for drying materials with moisture content of less than 65%.
Advantages
1. The single drum dryer has strong overload resistance, large processing capacity and simple structure.
2. Downstream drying method and countercurrent drying method can be selected, and the cylinder rotating speed can be adjusted.
3. The single-cylinder dryer achieves “zero horizontal thrust”, which greatly reduces the wear of the supporting wheel and ensures smooth and reliable operation of the cylinder.
4. The “self aligning supporting roller device” is adopted, so that the matching between the supporting wheel and the rolling ring is always in linear contact, thus greatly reducing wear and power loss.
5. The selection of reasonable operating parameters results in a reduction of over 10-15% in coal and electricity consumption, and an increase of over 10-15% in output.
6. Wide range of available heat sources, such as coal, biomass, natural gas, oil, and other fuels.
System
The material is fed from the feeding port by the elevator, and it is dispersed, broken, and distributed evenly through the dispersing device under the action of gravity (ensuring the heat exchange effect of the material inside the dryer). The hot gas is generated by the lower hot air furnace and moves from bottom to top, coming into contact with the material. Heat is transferred to the material through heat conduction, convection, and radiation, causing the temperature of the material rise continuously and the moisture continue to evaporate. Material that meet the moisture requirements is discharged from the lower outlet, and gas with water vapor is extracted by the fan from the chimney.
