Introduction

The straw dryer is a drum-type drying equipment. The heat generated by the combustion of the heat source enters the drum and rotates with the straw. The moisture in the straw is evaporated through heat exchange, so that the straw is dried. The moisture content of the dried straw is less than 12%, making it less prone to mold when stored in a centralized manner. These straw can be used as feed for cattle and sheep, and can also be used to make biomass pellets or produce various straw products.

Application

The straw dryer is widely used for drying corn straw, soybean straw, cotton straw, wheat straw, sorghum straw, sawdust, shavings, wood chips, ginkgo leaf, mulberry leaf, and other agricultural cellulose materials.

System

The straw drying production line includes combustion furnace, feeder, conveyor, rotary dryer, motor, reducer, dust collector, induced draft fan, etc. The wet straw is first crushed by a crusher and then enters the feeder. The high-temperature flue gas generated by the heat source enters the dryer under the action of the induced draft fan, where it contacts and exchanges heat with the straw. The water is evaporated and directly pumped out into the dust collector. After the straw is dried, it still runs in the dryer until it reaches the preset moisture content before falling from the discharge port.
